2006 project was the first time I was told to paint whatever I wanted. I was really interest in Antoine de Saint- Exupery's story "Little prince" and that became my inspiration for “Soil” collection. I was mesmerized by the silence and depth of the desert.
2008 project Metamorphosis was the subject of my bachelor's project. Kafka's novel and Francis Bacon's masterpieces had a great impact on creating these pieces. In both artists' pieces, the main characters are transformed to strange creatures with an unknown reason. And that's exactly how I approached to the subject. Visually, I deformed my characters to animal like creatures with empty compositions.
